They conducted a recruitment activity (interviews) for the position of Business Development Consultants for their business sector. Marketing and Management students were the target audience for this activity who can support growth strategy at both user and customer end and also work well with the stakeholders to bring new clients.

Three (03) candidates appeared for the interview and only one (01) got shortlisted.

Bank alBaraka conducted an induction session on July 28, 2017 followed by a recruitment activity (interviews) on campus. The organization had offered Branch Service Officer (BSO) position to the candidates of MBA and MS Islamic Banking & Finance. Mustafa Qureshi (Manager HR) along with his team conducted a written test based on Analytics, Maths and IQ.

The organization visited UMT to conduct a recruitment activity for the position of Summer Intern for various management departments.

Sohaib Baig (AM HR), Faraz Ahmad Sheikh (Sr. HR Executive), Yasar Arfat (Inventory Manager) and Haseeb Farakh (Admin Officer) briefed the candidates about the organization and its Summer Internship Program. After the presentation, a one-hour test activity was conducted where candidates were assessed on their academic as well as aptitude knowledge. The qualified candidates were called for the interview after the evaluation got completed.

Thirty-four (34) candidates were assessed for this position. About seven (07) candidates were shortlisted for the final interview and few were put on hold. The final result will be communicated within this week.

VIVO Electrics - Pakistan conducted an interactive and anticipating interview sessions with the candidates for the position of MTO - Sales and Marketing.

They looked for fresh candidates who were energetic and had the passion for dealing with challenges and people engagement. Their main focus was on the fluency of the English language in communication, convincing power, and selling abilities.

Alex Zhan, Director Marketing, and Madiha Riaz, Director HR conducted the interviews with full zest and energy. The confidence level of candidates was checked along with the required skill set individually and even in groups.

Thirty-nine (39) candidates appeared for the interviews. About seven (07) candidates made to the final interview. The final selected candidates will be offered an opportunity to work with them as a full-time employee after MTO duration gets over.

ECS with the assistance of OCS conducted a recruitment drive for the position of MTO - Retail Store.

Faheem Akbar, Head HR-ECS, along with his team conducted interviews of candidates from business and management background. They focused on fresh candidates who possessed the good academic knowledge, aptitude, and communication skill set, particularly male.

Out of all the appeared candidates, about five (5) got shortlisted. ECS will share the final result within this week.

Muhammad Zulkifal (Department Manager -HR) and Abid one more official representative for Metro conducted this drive. They first oriented all the candidates then assessed them by giving them a short case study. Further, they were evaluated by giving one-on-one interviews to Metro on the same day.

In continuation with the MOU signing ceremony between UMT and Pak-Qatar Family Takaful Limited (PQFTL), PQFTL conducted a recruitment drive for the vacant position of Product Specialist to give UMT students the opportunity to be the part of their business. In the beginning, an induction session was delivered to the registered participants of UMT where they briefed about their core operations, services, and the vacant position's scope.

After the induction session participants were interviewed one by one.

Twenty Three (23) candidates from UMT were interviewed by the PQFTL's panel.

VIVO Electrics, a multinational smartphone company, conducted a recruitment activity with the collaboration of OCS-UMT. Initially, they conducted an induction session and introduced their company to all the candidates.

They briefed about the history and ongoing operations of VIVO Electric. After this session, candidates were interviewed one by one according to their abilities and their skills were examined for the position of MTO (Sales & Marketing).

Eighteen (18) candidates from UMT participated in the interviews and induction session. Three (3) representatives from VIVO headed the recruitment session.

Employers were impressed by the confidence, skill set and knowledge which were showcased by the candidates.

In the end, interviews with VIVO's team were recorded by UMT Radio and TV.

Gooline Pvt. Ltd. conducted a recruitment drive for Summer Interns at different discipline in the organization.
After a brief induction session about the organization, an aptitude test was taken based on IQ, Gooline and Communication. Gooline representatives including Jawad Zia (Head Hr), Micheal Hu (Director Pakistan), Shehryar (Head of Marketing) and Fahad Interviewed the candidates.

Fifty-one (51) participants from multiple disciplines were assessed and evaluated. Three (03) candidates qualified the test, interviews and got selected for the said positions.

Office of Career Services (OCS) in collaboration with The Outsource Resource conducted an on- campus recruitment drive for DGS at UMT Lahore. Ms. Ayesha Baber (Director-The Outsource Resource) oriented the students about DGS, the whole recruitment process and the criteria for the position of Sales Team Members along with other practices of DGS. In addition to this at the end of the induction session interviews were also conducted for the position of Sales Team Members.

Forty Seven (47) participants from the School of Business and Economics (SBE) participants were interviewed.

UBL Fund Managers

UBL Fund Managers conducted a recruitment test at UMT Lahore in collaboration with OCS. The company offered Business Development and Advisory Executive Positions in their company. Their team conducted an analytical based test of the applicants within the campus. A number of students belonging to different degree programs like BBA/MBA/BBS/MS - Marketing / Finance / Sales / Management/Commerce appeared for the test. 

Thirty-seven (37) participants appeared for the test. Team UBL Fund Managers was helpful enough to assist the candidates throughout the test.

Apart from that, UBL Fund Managers also conducted interviews of 05 candidates after the test. Company will approach the selected candidates for interview in a few days.
